Introducing SiqueiraCastro’s new partners: Bruno Botelho, Fabrício Araújo, and Vinícius Arruda. Together, they strengthen our commitment to innovative and strategic legal solutions.

Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, March 2025 — SiqueiraCastro, one of the largest, most traditional, and pioneering full-service law firms in Brazil, announced the promotion of three new partners, aiming to strengthen its practice in strategic areas such as Strategic Litigation, Dispute Resolution, Labor Law, and Intellectual Property.

The firm’s CEO, Carlos Fernando Siqueira Castro, stated that this decision reinforces the firm’s strategy of investing in its talent and preparing the firm for future market demands.

“The promotion of these new partners is a strategic step to further strengthen our firm in essential areas. In the fields of strategic litigation, dispute resolution, labor law, and intellectual property, we face complex challenges, and the expertise of these new partners will be essential for us to continue delivering effective and innovative solutions for our clients,” he said.

Strategic Litigation and Dispute Resolution

In Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Amar Botelho, a lawyer with 11 years of experience at the firm, joins the Strategic Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, adding his expertise to the other seven partners in the field. A graduate of Universidade Federal Fluminense, Botelho holds postgraduate degrees in Civil Procedure (ESA), Consumer Law and Consumer Relations (PUC-RIO), and Real Estate Law (NUFEI-ABADI – Candido Mendes).

In addition to his legal practice, Botelho was a professor at Escola Superior de Advocacia and at ABADI’s Núcleo de Formação e Excelência Imobiliária (NUFEI), and he’s also the author of legal articles in the real estate field. “Integrating business strategy into our strategic litigation practice is essential to provide legal solutions that not only resolve disputes but also add value to our clients’ businesses. I am committed to continuing this proactive approach that supports sustainable growth and organizational resilience,” stated Botelho.

Labor Law Practice

Also in Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Oliveira de Araújo joins the firm’s partners in the Labor Law Practice. A graduate of Universidade Candido Mendes, Araujo holds postgraduate degrees in Labor Law and Labor Process. With 18 years of experience in the field, his work is recognized for his solid performance and dedication to Labor Law.

“I am immensely pleased with this opportunity to continue at SiqueiraCastro. In the current scenario, the ability to quickly adapt to market changes is crucial. Our labor strategy is focused on anticipating trends and developing solutions that help our clients remain competitive and in compliance with labor laws,” said Araújo.

Intellectual Property Practice

In Sao Paulo, Vinicius Cervantes Gorgone Arruda becomes the new partner in Intellectual Property Practice. He is pursuing a Ph.D. and holds a master’s degree in political and Economic Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, in addition to a postgraduate degree in Diffuse and Collective Rights from PUC/SP and an MBA in Electronic Law from Escola Paulista de Direito.

“Being promoted to partner in Intellectual Property is a great recognition of our ongoing commitment. We have adopted a strategic approach to maximize the value of our clients’ intangible assets, enabling them to thrive in a competitive market. The challenges are significant, but we are ready to overcome them with innovative solutions,” commented Arruda.

Arruda received an Honorable Mention in the 1st Ericsson Award for Academic Production in Intellectual Property (2023) and was listed in the Trademark Expert Guide (2018).
